  • Your daily responsibilities include:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

     

    • Knowledge of overall principles of operations and staffing requirements.
    • Strong problem solving, analytical skills.
    • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members
    • Analyze business needs to determine proper staffing levels and weekly department schedules aligning labor to department volume. Recommend staffing policies and procedures for scheduling team members to departmental managers.
    • Tracks department productivity daily. Prepares forecasts for various departments ensuring adequate staffing for excellent customer service.
    • Conduct quantitative and qualitative labor analysis across all departments within the gaming and non-gaming areas.
    • Manipulate datasets, create financial models and summarize findings in a succinct manner for department leader’s usage.
    • Observes departments to understand business volumes and staffing needs/opportunities.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills as well as the ability to present information and data to diverse groups.
    • Knowledge and application of positive customer service concepts, principles and processes; ability to conduct guest needs assessment and meet quality service standards,
    • Ability to work positively within constantly changing and fast paced internal and external environments.
    • Use computers systems such as Excel and projection technology to create, communicate and present information as well as review data, research alternatives, document information, prepare action plans and implementation results.
    • Ability to work with little supervision while multitasking
    • Ability to compile data into actionable reports

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
    Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Partner across the operations to compile and analyze labor metrics, productivity data and volume key business indicators.
    • Prepare labor management reporting which provides timely insight into labor performance and volume driven trends.
    • Prepare presentations for Leadership.
    • Collaborate with department operators and members of Senior Leadership to prepare forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, track actual performance vs. budget, and establish key performance indicators for individual business units and the combined property.
    • Assist with new business initiatives, improvements in practices and procedures to maintain efficient use of labor while maintaining appropriate service levels and reduce unnecessary or duplicate work.
    • Participate in analytical studies including labor efficiencies, labor expense optimization, business process engineering, and time motion studies. Provide technical support for budgetary, administrative, and statistical gaming, non-gaming, and headcount and FTE formulation activities.
    • Utilize advanced data-mining techniques and programming language (e.g. VBA, SQL) to create accurate and timely reports, budgets, forecasts, and labor optimization reports for individual business units and the combined property. Be accountable for the integrity and managerial usefulness of reporting packages.
    • Create professional reports and presentations for senior leaders
    • Closely monitor incoming job requisitions and approving based on criteria on a timely basis.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree or higher from a four-year college or university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
    • Pursuing on-going skill development in the areas of financial modeling and analysis and project management.
    • At least 21 years of age.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint.
    • Advance knowledge of data analysis and automation principles.
    • Ability to collect relevant data, structure data models, execute and interpret quantitative data.
    • Self-directed and outgoing, highly skilled in financial modeling and BI programming (e.g. VBA, SQL), capable of handling high exposure projects, and receptive to coaching and feedback.
    • Ability to produce results by working within established time frames/deadlines and understanding potential barriers and next steps.
    • Proven ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
    • Ability to write effective reports and memos.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Proven experience working in a methodical, and detail-oriented environment.
