  • Your daily responsibilities include:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

    • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
    • Supervises the work of the accounting staff (including, but not limited to, payroll, accounts payable, inventory control, recording of revenue and expenses, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset activity, inventory, etc.).
    • Responsible for assisting in the month-end General Ledger close process to ensure financial statements are accurate and thorough.
    • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
    • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
    • Complete timely and accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations monthly.
    • Produces monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
    • Supervise department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
    • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
    • Work with each direct report to monitor and advise on the progress of annual goals to enhance the professional development of staff.
    • Support Accounting Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements.
    • Maintain organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
    • Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
    • Motivate and engage team to achieve top level effort.
    • Work closely with department managers to ensure they have a thorough understanding of their expenses and general accounting procedures.
    • Assist in the supervision of capital expenditures for small and large-scale projects.
    • Compile composite reports from individual reports of subordinates required by management or government agencies.
    • Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
    • Issue written and oral instructions.
    • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
    • Two years accounting experience in addition to education
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
    • Professional appearance and impeccable integrity
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Good analytical skills
    • Knowledge of financial software systems
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
